NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bush fires continue to affect residents in North Andros who claim that the smoke is impacting air quality and threatening homes and businesses in the surrounding areas.
Some residents told Eyewitness News that there has been a loss of visibility on the roads due to the massive smoke making it “impossible to drive in certain areas.”
Residents are calling for more resources on the island and assistance to help battle the raging fires.
