NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Police have recovered a firearm containing ammunition from an abandoned vehicle in the Southeastern Division, with no arrests reported in connection with the seizure.
According to a preliminary report, shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Monday, 10th August 2026, officers assigned to the Southeastern Division acted on information and proceeded to an address on New Hope Drive.
During a search of an abandoned vehicle, officers discovered a firearm containing a quantity of ammunition.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
The firearm and ammunition were seized and will be processed for evidentiary purposes as the investigation continues.
