NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The University of The Bahamas (UB) has announced that it is offering prospective students additional opportunities to take the placement examination, providing an alternative pathway for students to gain acceptance into the university.
The placement examination allows students to secure early acceptance into UB, offering peace of mind and ample preparation time before the start of university life. The exams can be taken in person at the Oakes Field campus or online.
UB has announced three additional dates for the placement tests:
- Saturday, 6th July 2024 | Payment deadline: Thursday, 4th July 2024
- Friday, 12th July 2024 | Payment deadline: Monday, 8th July 2024
- Saturday, 13th July 2024 | Payment deadline: Thursday, 11th July 2024
The cost for both the Mathematics and English exams is $70. Payments can be made at the Cashier’s Cage at Chapter One Bookstore (Oakes Field Campus) from 9 am to 3 pm, or at the Teachers Credit Union Building (TCU), UB North from 10 am to 3 pm. Applicants should email a copy of their payment receipt along with their full name, email address, exam method (in person or online), and the exams being taken (English, Math, or both) to travis.minnis@ub.edu.bs.
