Police investigate multiple armed robberies

Police are investigating three alleged armed robberies that occurred in the capital.

The first incident occurred on Friday 05th July, 2024, at a residence on Washington Street off Balfour Avenue.

Preliminary reports indicate that around 9pm, the victim was outside when three unknown males, approached him. It is reported that one of the males brandished a firearm, robbing the victim of his white, green and black 2024 Yamaha XT2125E motorcycle before they fled the scene.

The second incident happened on Saturday 06th July, 2024 at a property on Hanna Road off Fox Hill Road.

According to reports, around 10:00 p.m., the victim was standing outside his white Nissan Caravan L/P #TN1214 when an unknown male emerged from nearby bushes, produced a firearm, and robbed the victim of an undisclosed sum of cash and his vehicle.

Officers from the Eastern Division located and recovered the stolen vehicle in the Kool Acres Subdivision.

The final incident took place on Sunday 07th July, 2024, on Wilson Track off Wulff Road.

Initial reports indicate that the victim arrived at a residence in his gray Nissan Cube L/P #AZ0464 shortly before 2 am. Upon exiting his vehicle, two (2) unknown gunmen approached and discharged gunshots in his direction, causing him to flee for safety. The culprits then entered his vehicle and fled the immediate area. The victim was unharmed during this incident.
