NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An investigation is underway in Grand Bahama following a shooting incident that occurred during the early hours of Wednesday, August 07, 2024, resulting in two men sustaining critical injuries.
Preliminary reports indicate that around 1:00 a.m., police were alerted to reports of two (2) males being shot multiple times outside a nightclub on East Sunrise Highway.
Upon arrival at the scene, responding officers confirmed the discovery of two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to their upper body; EMS personnel subsequently transported them to the hospital for medical attention, where they remain listed in critical condition, police said.
The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently unknown. Police are actively investigating and will provide updates as more information becomes available, authorities asserted.
