NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Police in Grand Bahama are investigating an alleged attempted sexual assault involving a 39-year-old woman in West End.
According to the initial report, the woman contacted police shortly after 11 p.m. on Tuesday and reported that she was visiting a friend’s home when the friend’s boyfriend allegedly attempted to engage in non-consensual sexual activity with her.
Police said the woman was able to defend herself before the suspect left the residence.
Investigators say the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear and enquiries are continuing.
