NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Police are searching for three armed men who robbed a man of more than $2,500, his cellphone and his vehicle during a late-night ambush in Bamboo Town on Tuesday.
According to police, the victim was driving with a man known to him around 10 p.m. when he was asked to pick up a woman at a residence on Taylor Street. As he waited outside the home, three masked men dressed in dark hoodies approached the vehicle.
Investigators say one of the suspects was armed with a firearm. The trio allegedly robbed the victim of $2,520, his cellphone and the keys to his white 2016 Honda Accord before fleeing the area in the stolen vehicle.
