Paving of northbound lane of Sir Milo Butler Highway begins today

Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible

A statement issued this weekend by the Ministry of Public Works/Bahamix, advised that preparations to pave the northbound lane of the Sir Milo Butler Highway will begin today, Monday, March 27, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for six working days.

The Ministry said the resurfacing will extend from the Milo Butler/Tonique-Williams-Darling roundabout to the Fire Trail Road roundabout. Therefore, northbound traffic will be subjected to single lane closures for the duration of the works.

“Motorists are asked to avoid the area if possible. You are asked to be aware of and acknowledge the posted traffic paving signs in the area,” the Ministry said.

“If you have any inquiries or concerns, please feel free to contact us at 242-361-3882/242-361-3886. Once again, Bahamix apologizes for any inconvenience caused.”
