Two juvenile females, one adult male in custody
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police on the Island of New Providence are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Monday, May 27, 2019, which left an adult male in hospital.
According to police reports, shortly after 11:00a.m. on Monday, a group of persons were standing in front of a local eatery on Market Street near to Martin Street, when they were joined by two males and two females.
One of the males pulled a firearm from a bag and opened fire into the group, injuring one man before he and his friends ran away.
The victim was transported to hospital and is listed in serious condition.
A short time later, police took two juvenile females and an adult male into custody in connection with this incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
