NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a fatal crash that claimed the life of a 42-year-old male motorcyclist on Sunday 18th August, 2024.
The accident occurred shortly before 9:00 p.m. on Seahorse Road near Coral Court which involved two vehicles: a black GMC Yukon XL, driven by an adult male, and a red and yellow Kawasaki 636 ZX6 motorcycle, ridden by the deceased.
Investigative reports confirmed that the motorcyclist was traveling north on Seahorse Horse Road while the Yukon driver was heading south along the same corridor and made an attempt to travel west along Coral Court, resulting in a collision.
The impact of both vehicles resulted in the motorcyclist sustaining severe injuries, and EMS
personnel transported him to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigations continue into this matter.
