NASSAU, BAHAMAS : Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault of a 21-year-old female that occurred on Wednesday, 19th August, 2026.
According to the preliminary report, sometime around 4:00 p.m., the complainant reported to police that she had requested transport assistance from a male she knew to get to the store to purchase needed products. However, after purchasing the items, they went to his residence, where he made sexual advances towards her, but she indicated to him that she was not interested. The male allegedly continued his advances and sexually assaulted the victim against her will. The investigation into this matter continues.
