Firearm and ammunition seized at George Town dock; man arrested

Shortly after 11:00 a.m., officers acting on information proceeded to the location and conducted a search of a male suspect in relation to dangerous drugs and firearms. During the search, officers inspected a black backpack in his possession and discovered a firearm along with a quantity of ammunition.

The suspect was immediately arrested and cautioned in connection with the matter.

Investigations are ongoing.
