NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 54-year-old male was arrested in the nation’s second city on Thursday, after he was found to have suspected marijuana in his possession.
According to police reports, shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Thursday, officers of the northeastern police station, while on mobile patrol in the area of East Sunrise Highway, stopped a Dodge Caravan Taxi with a lone driver and discovered in a cooler two plastic bags containing a quantity of suspected marijuana.
He was taken into police custody and is expected to be arraigned before the magistrate court next week.
