NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Windsor Lakes, the eco-luxury residential community rising in western New Providence, is on track to welcome its first residents in September as the development approaches $35 million in investment and moves closer to becoming a fully operational community.
Marketed as “a new eco-luxury lifestyle” where “tropical opulence merges harmoniously with the laidback charm of historic Adelaide Village,” the 173-lot development is designed to offer residents a community that embraces the outdoors while prioritizing leisure, elegance and modern living.
Businessman Robert Myers, who is spearheading the project, said major infrastructure and community amenities are nearing completion, positioning the development for its first occupancy within weeks.
“We’ll have people living here by the beginning of September,” Myers said. “By September, it will be a functioning community.”
Myers said approximately $30 million has already been invested in the development, with total investment expected to reach about $35 million by the end of September as construction continues.
The project’s clubhouse, gym and gatehouses have been completed and are undergoing final finishing work, while landscaping around the lakes is progressing. Myers said electricity is expected to be commissioned shortly and the wastewater treatment plant is also being brought online.
Construction activity is continuing across the site, with four homes nearing completion, three additional homes under construction and a multifamily project expected to begin in August, pending permits. Several more homes are also scheduled to break ground during the third quarter.
Sales have also remained strong. Myers said 60 percent of the development’s 173 lots have already been sold—approximately 104 lots—leaving about 70 lots still available. Demand has been especially robust for multifamily properties, with only eight multifamily lots remaining.
“The demand is there, and the sales have shown that,” Myers said. “Once the amenities are complete, we’ll be raising pricing.”
The company expects to increase prices on remaining inventory at the end of August as key amenities come into service.
Beyond Windsor Lakes, Myers said the company’s expanded wall panel manufacturing facility is supporting residential construction at other developments, including Lake Killarney, Albany and Old Fort Bay, reflecting growing demand for its building system.
