Vitamalt Hosts 6th annual back-to-school giveaway at Windsor Park

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — On August 17, Vitamalt, in partnership with its corporate allies, returned to Windsor Park on Wulff Road for its 6th annual Back to School Giveaway. The event, which has become highly anticipated by the community, reflects Vitamalt’s ongoing commitment to supporting society’s most vulnerable members.

Focused on ensuring that students and parents in The Bahamas have the necessary resources for a successful school year, the event featured the distribution of essential school supplies, including lunch bags, pencil cases, and tumblers for enjoying a refreshing Vitamalt on the go.

Beyond the giveaways, attendees enjoyed a fun-filled day with plenty of food and activities. Children delighted in face painting and racing down inflatable obstacle courses, while parents and students alike enjoyed complimentary pizza, hot dogs, and beverages from Dasani, Minute Maid, and, of course, Vitamalt.

The event also featured dynamic demonstrations by the Royal Bahamas Police Force, including the Mobile, K-9, Fire, and Traffic divisions, followed by a live performance from the Urban Renewal Band.

Chief Superintendent Darvey Pratt of the Royal Bahamas Police Force Urban Renewal Division expressed his satisfaction with the event, saying, “Looking around and seeing the impact this event has on the children of this community speaks volumes. This event will be talked about for days. I’ve already received commendations from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, who praised Vitamalt’s efforts.”

Densil Deveaux, Senior Portfolio Manager at Commonwealth Brewery Ltd. (CBL), shared similar sentiments, stating, “We are thrilled that the community loves and embraces the Vitamalt brand. This event is our way of saying thank you for helping us maintain our position as the number one malt in The Bahamas.”

As the new school year kicks off and families dive into busy schedules, Vitamalt remains committed to helping consumers of all ages stay focused and vitalized throughout the year.
