NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Operation “Northern Spear” resulted in the arrest of two males after police allegedly discovered suspected Oxycodone pills and marijuana at a Bailey Town residence.
Police in Bimini conducted the operation on Thursday, August 20, 2026, carrying out a series of road checks and executing several search warrants that resulted in the arrest of two males for drug-related offences.
According to the preliminary report, shortly after 6:30 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence in Bailey Town.
During the search, officers discovered a backpack containing 116 suspected Oxycodone pills. A further search of the residence also resulted in the discovery of a small quantity of suspected marijuana.
Two males, ages 25 and 36, were subsequently arrested in connection with the discovery.
The 116 suspected Oxycodone pills have an estimated street value of $2,300.
The investigation remains ongoing.
