NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Three men ages 24, 25 and 26 have been arrested in Grand Bahama after police seized approximately 1.3 pounds of suspected hydroponic marijuana and $3,295 in cash during a search of a Scott Street residence.
According to the initial report, shortly after 9:40 p.m. on Friday, August 7th, 2026, officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by officers of the Mobile Division, proceeded to a residence on Scott Street armed with a search warrant and acting on information received.
Upon arrival, officers presented the search warrant to the occupants, who appeared to have read and understood its contents.
A search of the residence was subsequently conducted in the presence of the occupants.
During the search, officers discovered a quantity of suspected hydroponic marijuana and $3,295 in cash.
The three men were arrested and cautioned in connection with the discovery.
The suspected hydroponic marijuana weighed approximately 1.3 pounds and has an estimated street value of $2,060.
The $3,295 in cash was also seized as suspected proceeds derived from criminal activity.
The investigation remains ongoing.
