PARIS, FRANCE — Shaunae Miller-Uibo will have another chance to defend her Women’s Olympic 400 meters title as she has been named to the Women’s 400m repechage round scheduled for Tuesday 5:02 am local time.
The repechage round gives athletes, who have been knocked out of the heats, another opportunity to qualify for the semifinals and finals of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Miller-Uibo pulled up around the 200m mark in her 400m het during the preliminaries on Monday morning.
The quarter-miler specialist was crowned Olympic champion in the Women’s 400 meters at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games and the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games.
