NASSAU, BAHAMAS — The body of a man whose boat reportedly capsized in rough seas, was recovered by a local fisherman with the assistance of the police in waters off North Andros on Saturday.
Police investigations confirmed that on Friday, November 17, 2023, two men onboard a 17-foot blue and white Boston Whaler were in waters off Nicholl’s Town, North Andros, when their vessel capsized in rough seas. One of the men was able to swim to shore, but the second male was unaccounted for up until the discovery on Saturday.
A positive identification is pending, and an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
