The long-awaited Fiscal Responsibility Bill will be tabled in Parliament next week after Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis returns from addressing the United Nations (UN), according to the press secretary.
The tabling comes after lobbyists agitated for the bill’s tabling, following the recent increase in value-added tax to ensure that collected revenue is properly accounted for.
Press Secretary in the Ofice of the Prime Minister Anthony Newbold said, the bill won’t address campaign finance reform.
