Bahamian Celebrity Artist and Scotiabank clients create ‘I Am 242’ mural

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Ambassador-at Large for Cultural Affairs  His Excellency Jamaal Rolle expressed gratitude to Soctiabank Bahamas for entrusting him to bring the bank’s “I am 242,” mural to life; the financial institution unveiled the new artwork on Tuesday morning.

The mural will be housed at Scotiabank’s Bay Street location.

H.E. Rolle told reporters that Soctiabank customers were the true inspiration behind the art piece; he explained that the mural started as a blank canvas at the Scotiabank East Street and Soldier Road location, customers were invited to add their personal touch to the painting. In the end, the Celebrity Artist added his final touches to the painting which features a Junkanoo figure, a face at side profile and a myriad of vibrant colors in an abstract formation.
