NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The authorized Agencies within The Bahamas Department of Aviation wishes to inform airport users that the aerodromes in Bimini, Grand Bahama, and Abaco will be opened and fully operational at sunrise on Friday, October 11, 2024.
This follows the confirmation of the initial “ALL CLEAR,” issued by the Bahamas Department of Meteorology. Personnel from The Airport Authority, Bimini Airport Development Partners and Freeport Airport Development Company continue to be engaged in thorough inspections ahead of the anticipated resumption of airport operations tomorrow.
