NASSAU, BAHAMAS – BTC wishes to advise the public that due to a subsea fiber break, customers on Bimini and Cat Cay are experiencing a disruption in landline, internet and mobile services.
BTC, via a press statement issued Thursday evening, said, “The subsea break between Eight Mile Rock and Bimini was discovered earlier today, and our technical team is currently assessing the issue and working on methods to restore services in the shortest possible time.”
“BTC apologizes for the inconvenience caused and will continue to provide updates.”
