Man shot by police after aggressively resisting arrest

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man was shot by police on Sunday after he became aggressive.

According to police reports, around 10:30 a.m., police responded to a domestic complaint at Sandilands Village Road.

As the officers were carrying out the arrest, the suspect became aggressive and a struggle ensued, resulting in the suspect being shot.

The suspect was transported to hospital and is listed in stable condition.

None of the officers were injured and police said investigations are ongoing.
