The Bahamas Government formally entered into a loan agreement with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) for $20 million for the execution of a vitally important initiative: “Skills for Current and Future Jobs in The Bahamas”.
The signing took place at the Ministry of Finance Thursday.
This initiative is said to be aimed at not only improving the professionalism of Bahamians, but to also lower the unemployment rate.
