NASSAU, BAHAMAS: A 45-year-old man was shot in the leg and hospitalised early Tuesday after a dispute involving his girlfriend’s child’s father allegedly escalated into gunfire in the Sears Hill area.
Police said the two men had been involved in a verbal altercation Monday night before the victim drove the suspect away from the residence. Shortly after midnight, as the victim was leaving, the suspect allegedly produced a firearm and opened fire, striking him in the right leg and damaging the door of the residence.
The victim was transported to hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown, and investigations are continuing.
