NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Police in Abaco are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred on Tuesday, 11th August, 2026, in the area of Treasure Cay, which left a 44-year-old man hospitalised.
According to the preliminary report, shortly after 4:30 p.m., the victim was at his residence when he became involved in an altercation with a female. The female subsequently left the residence and went to a nearby relative’s home. The victim followed her to that location, where a male allegedly stabbed him.
The victim was initially assessed and treated at the local clinic before being airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention. His condition is unknown at this time.
Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
