Cabinet has approved the committee that will be responsible for capturing public opinion on the direction the country should take as it relates to legalisation of marijuana.
Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis told reporters over the weekend that government intends to put together a diverse grouping that will be responsible for public education.
The committee announcement follows the Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) recommendation that the region should look at reclassifying marijuana.
