Three injured after gunmen open fire on crowd

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Four men reportedly opened fire on a group of people, injuring three people on Wilkinson Street off Augusta Street yesterday morning.

According to police, the incident occurred shortly before 9am.

“According to reports, the suspects reportedly exited a white Honda-type vehicle and fired gunshots into the group of people, which resulted in three of them, two males ages, 57 and 17 years, and a 43-year-old female being shot.”

“The 57-year-old male received injuries to his buttocks, the 17-year-old male received injuries to his side while the 43-year-old female was grazed to the side. All persons were taken to hospital, where the teenager remains in serious condition.”
