Donald Thomas won the first track and field medal for The Bahamas at the 2018 Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in Barranquilla, Colombia in the men’s high jump Wednesday night.
Thomas captured the gold medal with a leap of 2.28 metres (m), edging out Javier Ruiz-Yanez, from Venezuela, who also cleared 2.28m, just on more attempts.
