Bahamas Union of Teachers (BUT) President Belinda Wilson has been suspended again according to official documents received by Eyewitness News Wednesday.
Wilson, along with three other union executive committee members including Secretary General John Musgrove, Treasurer Lorraine Knowles and Trustee Mizpah Munroe have been suspended for two months each after it was discovered that the four allegedly paid themselves without authorization in defiance of a court ruling.
As a result, elected assistants will serve in the offices of president, treasurer and secretary general until the suspensions have been lifted.
