School repairs in New Providence underway, including swimming pools for eight schools

NASSAU, BAHAMAS- Education Minister  Glenys Hanna-Martin announcing that numerous schools in the capital are undergoing major renovations.

Although Hanna-Martin was unable to provide an exact figure on the renovations she estimated that it would be some $10 million dollars.

With some six weeks left until the 2024-2025 school year, some campuses are undergoing roofing changes, windows installation and pavilion reconstruction. Minister Hanna-Martin adding that the biggest change is the addition of a swimming pool to some eight schools.
