Saturday seminars for Over-the-Hill to begin today

As part of the Over-the-Hill Community Development Partnership Initiative, the Economic Development and Planning Unit (EDPU) in the Office of the Prime Minister intends to host a series of Saturday seminars for residents and businesses in the Bain and Grants Town and Centreville areas through the “Over the Hill Weekend Institute”.

The seminars, which begin today, will be hosted at 10 a.m. each Saturday at the C.R. Walker auditorium. Each event has been agreed with partnering agencies and organizations and will be free to all attendees. There is no application or registration necessary.

  • 24 February: Legal Aid Clinic presented by The Bahamas Bar Association
  • 3 March: Entrepreneurship presented by The Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC) and the Department of Cooperatives
  • 10 March: Financial Literacy, Saving and Budgeting presented by the CFA Society of The Bahamas
  • 17 March: Grant Writing (presenters to be confirmed)
