NASSAU, BAHAMAS— Sapodilla Estate proudly recognizes the dedication of Trevor Patton Sr. and his two sons, Trevor “TJ” Patton Jr. and Lawell Patton, who together represent a valued Bahamian family presence across Sapodilla’s hospitality venues. Trevor Patton Sr. has been a committed team member at Sapodilla’s fine dining restaurant for more than 13 years, and during his tenure both sons have joined the estate’s workforce—contributing at Sapodilla Restaurant and at the Sunset Beach Club on West Bay Street.
The Pattons exemplify Sapodilla’s tradition as a family estate that values continuity, community, and mentorship. Through long-term employment, on-the-job training, and everyday leadership, Trevor Sr., TJ and Lawell serve as strong male role models for colleagues and younger Bahamians pursuing careers in hospitality.
“Sapodilla has always been built on family — not only the family that owns the estate, but the families that make our service and spirit possible,” said
Jamie Saunders, Managing Director at Sapodilla Estate. “We are proud to employ the Patton family and to see their commitment ripple through our teams. Their example reinforces our goal to open doors for more Bahamian families so they too can join the Sapodilla legacy and build meaningful careers here at home.”
Sapodilla Estate remains committed to expanding opportunities for local families through intentional hiring, mentoring programs, and career development pathways across its fine dining restaurant, Sunset Beach Club and wider estate operations. The estate sees the Patton family’s story
as a model for how local talent can thrive in long-term hospitality careers
while strengthening community ties.
