Robber targets fast-food restaurant

Police also probing separate armed robbery

NASSAU, BAHAMAS — A gunman stormed a fast food restaurant on Tonique Williams Darling highway around 9 p.m. Saturday and held employees at gunpoint, but was unsuccessful in robbing the restaurant, according to police.

The suspect ran into a nearby community, police said.

Police did not report any injuries as a result of the incident.

Authorities also reported that a armed man approached two men and a woman on Tyler Street, Chippingham, around 1 a.m. and robbed them of cash and other items before fleeing.
