NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Two medical doctors, and an attorney graduated as Reserve Commission Officers in The Royal Bahamas Defense Force on Monday as a part of the inaugural reserve officer entry.
Reserve Senior lieutenant officers Sean Knowles, Delano Rolle and Edmund Turner asserted that they sought enrollment in this program to serve the RBDF, and by extension, the country.
Rolle, who is a psychiatrist by profession, noted that he hopes to help address the mental concerns of RBDF officers as he says it is critical given their duties on a daily basis.
Turner, an attorney-at-law, also noted that he hopes to helpful dealing with “internal disciplinary matters” while asserting that his life has “always been about public service.”
Acting National Security Minister, Leon Lundy, asserted that the trio’s graduation as reserve commission officers “further increases the pool of qualified personnel to be selected for greater leadership roles in the defense force.”
