NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in the capital are investigating an apparent drowning that occurred on Monday, February 11 at Half Moon Cay.
According to police reports, shortly before 3:00 p.m. on Monday, an adult Canadian male tourist, who was a passenger on a cruise ship, was discovered unresponsive and floating in waters at Half Moon Cay.
The tourist was removed from the water and CPR was rendered. The victim was transported to the local clinic on Eleuthera, where he was pronounced dead.
Investigations are ongoing.
