BULLOCK HARBOUR, BERRY ISLANDS — Police on the Berry Islands are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Thursday, August 1, 2024, resulting in the death of a female motorcyclist.
According to initial reports, the incident took place around 6:30 p.m. near the local public school on William Dean Senior Highway in Bullock’s Harbour. The female motorcyclist was riding a black motorcycle when she collided with a black Mitsubishi EK Wagon. The car was being driven by another woman who had two passengers; none of them were injured in the crash.
The impact of the collision threw the motorcyclist off her bike, causing severe injuries. A local doctor who arrived at the scene administered CPR and transported her to a nearby clinic. Despite these efforts, she later succumbed to her injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
