NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in New Providence are investigating a shooting incident on Monday which left a man in hospital.
According to police reports, shortly after 11:00 a.m., two men were at Forbes Street, Nassau Village, when they got into an altercation which led to one of them producing a firearm and shooting the other. The injured man was transported to hospital and is listed in stable condition.
A short time later, police took a 48-year-old male of West Bay Street, into custody in connection with this incident.
