Police are investigating a shooting incident, which left one man with injuries yesterday.
According to reports, shortly before 8:00 pm, a an was walking through a track road off Poinciana Drive when he was approached by a male armed with a firearm. The unarmed man was shot several times before his assailant fled on foot. The victim was taken to hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Police have taken in to custody, a 33 year-old male resident of Huyler Street, in connection with this incident.
Investigations are ongoing.
