NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police in the capital are actively investigating a home invasion that took place on Fire Trail Road on Monday evening.
According to police reports, shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Monday, a woman was in her home when she was approached by an armed male who demanded cash.
Police indicated that the woman’s neighbour heard the woman screaming before they apprehended him until police arrived.
The alleged robber was taken into police custody and will be formally charged before the magistrate court later this week.
Police said there were no injuries.
Also, police are in search of a male suspect who they believe is responsible for an armed robbery that occurred around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday in front of a business establishment on Baillou Hill Road.
According to police reports, a man was standing in front of a business establishment when he was approached by an armed man who robbed him of cash and a chain before taking off in a grey four-door vehicle.
Police investigations continue.
