NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police have launched an investigation into an attempted suicide involving a 62-year-old man; the man reportedly attempted to commit suicide while in police custody at the Nassau Street Police Station on Sunday April 20, 2025.
According to preliminary reports, sometime around 5:30 a.m., the man allegedly inflicted injuries upon himself while detained in a cell. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance for medical treatment and further evaluation.
