NASSAU, BAHAMAS: Police in New Providence are investigating after the body of an unidentified adult male washed ashore along Eastern Road on Wednesday evening.
According to a preliminary police report, officers and Emergency Medical Services personnel responded shortly before 6:00 p.m. after receiving reports that an unresponsive man was found behind a residence. The victim, believed to be in his 50s, was found lying face down on the shoreline and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say there were no visible signs of trauma, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are ongoing.
