NASSAU, BAHAMAS — On Tuesday, 18th March 2025, the Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by other officers, confiscated a firearm, ammunition, and a quantity of suspected Dangerous Drugs.
According to initial reports, shortly after 5:00 p.m., officers, acting on information, conducted a search of an abandoned residence in the area of Prison Lane. During the search, a firearm was confiscated from a wooden structure attached to the residence, along with firearm components and a quantity of ammunition.
Furthermore, with the assistance of the K-9 Unit, officers were also able to confiscate a quantity of suspected Marijuana from the premises. No arrests were made. The estimated weight of the suspected Marijuana is 2 lbs and four ounces, with a street value of $2,400.00.
