ABACO, BAHAMAS – Police on the island of Abaco captured three suspects, whom they believe allegedly robbed a female on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.
According to police reports, on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, shortly after 10:00a.m., an armed culprit, while in the Treasure Cay area, held up and robbed a female of her handbag that contained personal items before fleeing the area in a dark-colored vehicle.
Officers of the Abaco District, acting on information, proceeded to the Farm Road and Sand Bank area where they arrested two male suspects and recovered a dark colored vehicle and the victim’s handbag along with personal items.
Later, officers arrested a female suspect and recovered a .22 pistol with three rounds of ammunition.
Investigations will continue and all three suspects are expected to be arraigned before the magistrate court early next week.
