NASSAU, BAHAMAS — Ninth-grader Ethan Clarke collapsed last Thursday while participating in a physical education class at Aquinas College.
In a statement, school officials say trained staff immediately administered CPR and called an ambulance. Clarke was then reportedly taken to Doctors Hospital, where he later passed away.
The school extended condolences to Clarke’s family and announced that counselors will be available to support students, parents, and staff when classes resume on January 14.
