Officials of the Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) announced Friday that it is one step closer to finding an investor and operator for the planned hotel at the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA).

It has been nearly a decade since plans were announced by operators of the country’s main gateway, to develop the old domestic terminal into a five-star hotel.

NAD President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Vernice Walkine said the oversubscribed bidding process for the new facility is winding down.
