Deputy Prime Minister Peter Turnquest recently sought to allay the fears of some concerned residents that the Over-the-Hill initiative’s construct will allow for the gentrification of the historic residential areas.
Turnquest said there are safeguards in the legislation that will protect residents in those communities from being pushed out, as development occurs.
