NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are investigating a double shooting incident which unfolded during the early morning hours of Sunday August 25, 2024 which claimed the life of an adult male in the Bozine Town area, the second victim remains in hospital under medical supervision.
Authorities said the incidenf occurred around 1:00 a.m. at an unnamed road in the Bozine Town community off Tonique Williams-Darling Highway, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old male and a 30-year-old male with non-life threatening injuries.
According to preliminary reports, both victims were attending a party when gunshots erupted
nearby; they both fled for safety; however, the 20-year-old was shot multiple times about the body; he fled into a residence, where he later collapsed, while the 30-year-old later realized he sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.
Emergency medical services arrived at the scene, examined the 20-year-old victim, but found no
vital signs of life; they transported the second victim, to the hospital, where he is listed in a stable condition.
