Miller signs with Salem International University

Saequan Miller, a member of the Under-19 Bahamas national water polo team, signed a letter of intent to attend Salem International University over the weekend.

“I honestly could not have done this without real traveling experience,” Miller said.

“So, that means that none of this would be possible without my parents, grandparents, remarkable coaches, family, teammates, and last but not least, God.”

Miller has won four Caribbean Free Trade Agreement (CARIFTA) water polo medals over the course of his time as a national team member. At this year’s event, he led team Bahamas to a gold medal and was named the tournament’s most valuable player (MVP).

Miller is also expected to represent the country at the 2018 Junior Olympics this month in San Jose California. The competition is set for July 20-23.
